Gerai Orang Asli Mah Meri Pandanus Bookmark

Mah Meri Pandanus Bookmark was woven by 30 Mah Meri ladies.

Gerai OA is a volunteer-run, nomadic stall selling crafts by the Orang Asal (indigenous minorities), works with indigenous Orang Asli and Orang Asal communities across Malaysia to bring their natural craft products to market. Travelling to remote villages, the volunteers provide guidance to weavers on contemporising their traditional wares through introducing new uses and updating colour palettes. They are social enterprise and 100% of the sales monies is returned to the named indigenous artisan.
